The line of hoodies "Svyatkovi" is inspired by the ceremonial gingerbread of Poltava region - panyanka, which were prepared during the Christmas period. These are painted cut-out delicacies made from unleavened dough and decorated with pink (beetroot juice was used as a dye) and white icing. They were called "panyanka" because they were usually baked in the shape of a girl (as a symbol of the family), but could also be in the shape of riders, birds, grasshoppers, boots, flowers, stars, etc. Traditionally, godparents gave girls gingerbread in the shape of a young lady, and boys - in the shape of a rider.

The embroidery on the hoodie depicts a rider who, with a sword in his hands, is always ready to defend the most important values ​​of a Cossack - faith, freedom, love, brotherhood. The symbol of faith is a schematic image of the Protection over the head of a Cossack, which also serves as protection and a talisman for the rider. Freedom is symbolized by two free birds circling in the high sky full of bright stars. The fragile flower depicts love that has not yet blossomed, but is filled with fruits, and which the rider covers with his body from all the hardships of life. Brotherhood is symbolized by two more horses located at the bottom of the composition and on which the rider's horse conventionally rests, symbolizing fraternal support, support, unity and readiness to be there in the most difficult moments of the turbulent life of a Cossack.

It is worth noting that each motif of embroidery is not accidental: they are found in various forms of ceremonial gingerbread of the Poltava region - horses, stars, birds, flowers, etc. The spiral and wavy lines that fill the space of the entire embroidery are reminiscent of the technique of Poltava craftsmen who decorated the still warm, just baked surface of gingerbread with white sweet glaze.
