My two colors, my two colors... Milk dress "Wave" is our ode to the great Ukrainian Dmytro Pavlychka, who passed away in early 2023. But for each of us, he left an invaluable legacy.
Two eternal colors are used in the ornament of the dress: "red is love, and black is grief." Nevertheless, we decided to add less grief. Because despite the struggle for their freedom, love for the Motherland, its traditions, customs and spaces occupies a huge place in the hearts of Ukrainians. The invaders wanted to break us, but we are like those ripe wheat waves swaying under a strong wind and firmly holding their full ear of grain. And from a small seed, a new gold of wheat fields will be born under the blue sky of freedom.
The "Wave" smelling dress has an elastic band on the waist line for reliable fixation on the figure and even distribution of folds. Also, for a better fit, the back has a counterfold in the center. A long two-color belt with tassels will further emphasize the waist, and embroidered button cuffs will emphasize the delicacy of women's hands. Deep pockets in the side seams became a convenient addition to the dress.
